Air Only Blows Out Of Floor

As stated in the title i am only getting air blowing out of the defrost and floor vents but not the ones in the dash.

Air only blows out of floor.

Also how do i respond on post to say thanks to all that give info. Air only blowing out of defrost and floor jun 28 2016 2 35am. Which part controls the vents in which the air flows. I get good heat and air conditioning from my front vents but when i select floor or defrost vents the air still only blows from front vents.

No air from floor vents or defroster vents only front vents. I just started i checked the air vac answered by a verified jeep mechanic. My question is this. The factory vacuum check valve is very hard to get to.

It works this way in both the manual and automatic modes. I know there is often a faulty check valve on the vacuum line but are. After installing a new blower fan motor the ac would only come out the defrost vents. The air only blows out the defrost and floor not the face vents.

It does blow cold just cant get it out vents. My air conditioning is blowing cold air but it directs the flow to the windshield and floor and not from the vents in the dash. Like grumpy and others who gave suggestions on exhaust. On the astros when the heat only blows through defrost and floor it s due to a broken vacuum line.

So i bypassed it. I have installed a new blend door actuator at the passenger side and realized after the fact that wouldn t have helped my issue. During battery replacement the control module for the mode actuators may lose its memory.
